About 15 years ago, I saw a documentary on "Prophecy".
In that show it prophesied that World War III would originates from Middle East due to clashes between Islam and Christianity. Recent world events seem to be affirming the prophecy. What do say?.

I don't think there will ever be a war on the scale of WWI and WWII, because we don't fight wars like that anymore. We're moaning about say, 5 soldiers being killed in a mortar attack but what about the thousands a day that died in WWI and WWII?

This 'War on Terror' is in essence a World War, because the majority of the world are involved in terrorism and/or counter-terrorism, but there will never be a war on the destructive scale of WWI and WWII.

A world war is a military conflict affecting the majority of the world's major nations. World wars usually span multiple continents, and are very bloody and destructive.

The term has usually been used to apply to two conflicts of unprecedented scale and slaughter that occurred during the 20th century. They were the First World War, also known as the Great War (1914–1918) and the Second World War (1939–1945).

Some have claimed that the Cold War should be termed a "World War III" and some that the current "War on Terrorism" is "World War III" or even "World War IV". However, these characterisations have attracted little support and have not been agreed upon by the majority of historians.

FROM A NEWS REPORT:

'In an interview in Bellevue the morning of July 16, 2006 former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Bush should call a joint session of Congress the first week of September and talk about global military conflicts in much starker terms than have been heard from the president. "This is World War III," Gingrich said, and that Bush should say so.'

Sorry illogical one, Militaries now a day are simply too small for a world war. Only NATO forces have the fire power to take a war to an enemy. Even then NATO only have that capability as long as the USA provides it. Most militaries are defensive in nature as to build an offensive force would bankrupt most nations . So please put nostradamus back in the sci-fi section where he belongs. I also saw this show which was quaint, If memory serves in that show The world was suppose to be blasted in 1998 not in 2008 nice try though.

I remember that program.

Newt Gangrene claims the War has already started.

Doubters think we need a Pearl Harbor style attack to equal war. They are going to be looking up for a sky full of airplanes when the Islamofascists draw a sword across their throat.

With all that's been happening in this world, I'll be shocked that it there wouldn't be a WW3.

The real questionis really, who's to be blamed for it?
