Does anyone know why all passenger trains make a stop in Wellington, South Africa. This is my hometown and I know why, but most "Wellingdonners" don't have the foggiest. Do you know? And if so, what other interesting facts or famous people can you name from this picturesque place? We even have royalty from there. Can you name her?

Yo Porgie!

One thing I know about Wellington, South Africa, is that it is where the first South African astronomy school was built, maybe a century ago. It is also where the finest details of one of the planets (I think the Venus which had already been discovered) were established.
