National day or mourning,,, even though some people use it as a way to make money by selling patriotic trinkets like you said, but that shouldn't undermine what this day represents.

I think as an American that we should all take some time to remember those who lost family and friends during the terrorist attack from 9/11. If it was my family and friends I would hope that people would never forget. America needs to wake up and realize how other nations and people feel about us and not roll over and play dead!!

I think we need to remember what happened and keep it simple. A moment of silence, a prayer, maybe call your loved ones and tell them you care. We don't need to have a bunch of doodads that make money for Korea or China. We don't need to commercialize this day.

Would you like us to name a national day to honor you? get over it! People DIED! How selfish can you be! There are still many people hurting over lost loved ones and unanswered questions.... I for one am praying for everyone involved, I'm not an all out patriotic person, but I can still honor and respect other people! Chill out, I would hate to know that someone who might be hurting, saw your comment!

I care. But no longer want to be bombarded with the media shoving it down our throats every year. Imagine how the familys feel having to relive this every year.
