Only happens when booting up -- so far

Not necessarily. Monitors generally last quite a while, usually longer than computers do. I would suggest trying degaussing your monitor and then turning the computer back on and see whether it quivers, it's possible your problem is just due to some latent electric charge.

Yes, your monitor is doing degaussing when powering on. It is quite standard. It will help your monitor to restore display quality.

But if your monitor does that after powered on, then you need to worry. My previous monitor after a year of usage started degaussing while I have been using it for while, and the problem become often gradually, eventually the monitor was only able to display a few lines in the middle. Luckily the monitor is garuanteed for 3 years. :)

Anyway, degaussing at startup is normal, but not while it's in use (except your software is trying switch screensize). If you are in dout, check with your monitor's manufacture support.

It more likly means the video card is. Loading the right driver stabilizes it over the VGA ones that get used during the boot which is why it gets better.

I would not replace it until it gets worse, but it probably will. Note the probably. I've seen bad video cards last over a year which is why I would wait.

if they are upgrade speakers could be from the speakers on tiher side of monitor if they are the origanal speaker dat came wid it should nt be a problem also cell phone next to comp. well cause disruption

make sure there is nothing magnetic next to the monitor.i bought a lamp with a magnetic base .and if it was near the monitor the same thing happened ,best of luck

it is having problem with the hold and will go out but no one will be able to tell you how long it will last
