Anybody who was sick of doing it for someone else?... I don't think I totally understand this question. Are you implying that one specific person started the practice of teaching other people this specific task?

Folks - read the question. It does NOT say "who taught you how to tie your shoe laces"... unless that's what she meant to write... need details from the OP.

In the times of cave people, the laces were made from vines, and cave kids were taught by cave moms how to place layers of giant leaves around the feet and secure then with vine laces. Some cave kids in the more affluent caves areas had velcro, but that didn't become more affordable until centuries later.
