I would like to know the cost, tuition, fees, location, reputation of the school, what are distance learning schools like, how well do people do after they finish, is it easy to own your own shop or can you but a franchise like Suzuki, or Harley! Please help me!

M.M.I motorcycle mechanic institute one in Phoenix Ar. & one in datona FL. all the major manufactures are involved Harley hires from there for their technitions. they even have courses for all the major boat, ATV, & jet skies. plus advanced courses and refresher coarses from late to early models. they can hook you up with employment too 15,000 for 18 months in 1999.

How well someone does is up to that person. Sounds like you're motivated and know your long term goals. Go to mechanic school, learn as much as you can, work for a dealer - learn about the business side and then branch out onto your own. Start by doing small jobs on you days off. One day you'll have guys turning wrenches for you. Good luck!

I'm not sure, but try WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming. I know the do car mechanics and race cars, but I'm not sure if they do motorcycles.
