Almost all new laptops come with a form of wireless internet in the form of 802.11 (either a, b, g or n) and it is also known as Wi-Fi. The most common variety at this time is 802.11G which lets you receive data at 54Kbps. Depending on what laptop company you purchase from, the wireless equipment will come from Atheros, Broadcom, Intel, and Agere.

Just remember that having the wireless card installed doesn't mean that you'll always have wireless internet. You need to be within range of a wireless (Wi-Fi) hotspot or wireless router that you are authorized to access before you get internet connectivity.

well this makes it far more easier for the user of the laptop to gain access to Internet via radio waves rather then having to use all those cables that most laptops have to use just to connect.

I think most of the new ones do. I just bought a Toshiba and it has it. Go to Best Buy, the staff there will be able to help you find one.
