I had a mated-pair of twin-spot gobies in my aquarium. Unfortunatly, one of them died. I would like to buy another mate for the lone goby, but I know that you need to mate them with their opposite sex or they could kill each other.
Does anyone have any advice for determining the sex of a twin-spot goby and/or successfully pairing them with another.

Much thanks, in advance!

They may be sexually dimorphic so I would suggest buying one that is very small. Also, I would recommend rearranging as much of the tank (or temporarily adding some bit of PVC piping) before introducing the new one to avoid the original one protecting his old area.

tape a playboy centerfold on one end of the aquarium and a playgirl centerfold on the other side and she which end of the tank "it" favors....... that is of course that we can assume that your gobie is not gay............
