I loved Lara Croft Tomb Raider Legend from the games this season. FEAR is also good. The path of Neo is good in the Matrix sense(better than the last), then there's DRIV3R and Call of Duty 2 and Battlefield2.
If you need something a little less graphic intensive try IGI2, Delta Force Xtreme, Max Payne2, Far Cry and Splinter Cell are neat too. But most of these are a year or two old.
Next time give me your PC specs so I can give a more customised list.

max payne,max payne 2, hitman 3, gta san anderas, doom 3 .......
i have played these games & i will prefer
1st - max payne 2 - go 4 it , it is the best cmpt. action game
2nd-gta san anderas - biggest game
3rd - hitman 3 - spy game with lots of sense & action
