Woo boy this is a toughie especially considering that there are so many different titles to choose from it's hard to nail it down to just one but if I had to choose I guess I'd have to say Ocarina of Time because I love the songs and the story. I like Link's Awakening too but I can only choose one. Oh and Icon if your talking about the secret room in A Link to The Past that I think you are I've made it there from the church with the Pegasus boots on my SNES version of the game before.

I'm gonna go old school on y'all and say a Link to the Past (Zelda 3). One of the best games for the SNes hands down, very fun to reply. I have even gone as far as to take a saturday and try to beat it w/o dying -- and I did succeed \( ^.^ )/.
I also read that there is a secret room that is so hard to get into that no one know it existed until emulators came about and you could hack the game and speed your character up.

I think the best one is the original GameBoy version: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

Well, either Legend of Zelda (1st one) or Ocrina of Time. Those have been the best so far.

Majoras mask is my favorite game in the Zelda series, followed by the wind waker and the o.o.t.

I'd say Ocarina of Time. But the original LoZ on NES is fantastic. I'm surprised there weren't more LttP votes on here.
