My boyfriends 22nd birthday is this thursday. We've been together for two years. I want to do something creative for him, because lately things have been very bland. Right now im broke, his birthday is thursday and I get paid friday. Fortuneately I work at a duplication service, so we have all kinds of colorful paper and stuff I can make things with. Does anyone have any creative ideas that they can suggest?

Prepare a splendid meal like learning his favourite dish.
Bake a cake thats full of your love.
The colourful papers..write some really nice wishes for him. Have some pictures and draw comic strip of you and him... like maybe things you'd want to do if you really had money. (Just a suggestion)
What I used to do was, I planned for a surprise party with his friends. The result is satisfying when his friends are there for him on his birthday. He'll be really glad.

A painting or collage type thing, something to hang on the wall. Its very cheerful and meaningful and lasts for a long time.
Just try and think a bit like a boy, we (boys) don't like girly notebooks, or mobiles or toilet roll holders. Y'know :)
Just look around the net for "Copy Art" there is some amazing stuff.

Write him a poem.
Make him a card.
Ask someone for an advance against your Friday paycheck. You have to take him to a dinner buffet, oir somehting inexpensive for his b. day. OIr, make him dinner: his favorite food from a great recipe.
How about a ball game if he's a fan? Roller Skating.
There are good free things in cetain areas to do. Beach walk? Free outdoor coincert? A party somewhere?
Go to
Craigslist.org and see under events and activities if there's somehting free in your area. Even your both giving blood is bonding as a gioft to humanity.

i do have a very creative idea!! Wrap yourself up in a box that you decorated and just wait till he comes and say yeeeee haw scare da s*** outta him hahahahhahahahaha
