i think men and women should waite until their lives and careers are settled and that would probably be between 28 and 32 not to old to be ugly yet and not to young and nieve to be taken a fool either, all the partying days should be done if you did them so you can settle down and have a family now if you want to have one and you should also have the patients for a family now that you would not have had at a younger age....good question

IMHO - a person needs to graduate from college, get your own.place, settle into your job, do that for a few years, get furniture and a decent CD collection.
But who the hell knows? In a way getting married very early ensures that you get the "good" guys.
Its interesting to me how much birth control has changed the world. Women get to decide these things now adays.
Now a new survey sponsored by the National Fatherhood Initiative declares couples who wed between 23 and 27 years of age have the best chance for a successful marriage. The National Fatherhood Initiative is a group which advocates marriage and family values.
"The last thing you want is to have them take this as a rule," says Stephanie Coontz, a professor of history and family studies at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash. "If you're in a good relationship and if you want to marry, there's no reason to postpone it."

For men- between 25 and 30 years is ok. while for women 22 to 30 years is also best.

Hi,
First of all you should be matured sexually ( may be 18 for girls and 21 for boys)!
MOST importantly marry when you are financially, emotionally ready to do so! Dont marry if you cant feed your wife and children! Marry when you love to have children. Marry when you love to take responsibility of all your partners needs.

It all depends on where you are in your life. I think it is best to finish college and to have a secure job and a house. You need to be established financially and emotionally. Marriage is a big thing and if you aren't ready for it, the chances of it failing are greater.
