My speakers are working, I can hear mp3s etc from Winamp/media player etc and games, but with Youtube.com, I can see the videos but dont get sound. all my volume controls are up, nothing is muted. I have tried it with both Firefox and Internet explorer and all I get is video with no sound

I have tried reinstalling Flash... I have vers 9 which is the latest. Speakers and all sliders are up. It has never worked on my home PC.

Most of this revolves around Shockwave. Have you tried removing and re installing it? Do you have the most up to date version?
I have similar problems where its working fine one clip and then on the next it's silent and only plays 2 seconds of the next clips, but downloads them all fine.
I find rebooting the only way to clear that one.
