Confidence is truly wonderful because it can be faked so easily - and a projection of false confidence often helps bolster real confidence.
Also, taking time to establish small goals (finishing homework on time, getting to work 10 minutes earlier, spending half an hour a day exercising, etc.) and recognize and celebrate them often helps to build confidence, as well as self-esteem.
Finally, being careful to avoid, or at least mitigate, the negative voice in one's head is imperative. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE, has that voice that says "You're not good enough. YOu'll fail. Everyone will see that you're a fraud." Don't listen to it.

By being positive and trying not to care what people think. Cause if you think about, all the people that we surround ourselves with will be dead in a 100 years, unless you are the president or someone really famous and every move is being on record, then who cares. Dance, ask out a girl, be free to speak your mind, be yourself. Dont worry what the world thinks....just be confident!

be remembering all the accomplishments and the good. then create more of them for yourself. dwelling on the bad things in life only tears down the esteem.
