Hello.

Most of the anole's i "knew" cant resist crickets. So when you can get some please do. Try another pet store. Also, it's only been a couple of days and he may simply be adjusting to his new surroundings and environment. Stress can cause loss of apetite.Make sure of course that he is warm enough to eat. Remember anole's color tells about how they are both emotionally and health wise. A bright green anole is generally in good health and under little stress. A dark brown anole is either in poor health or undergoing a time of stress. Handle him as little as possible for the first week and let him chill.
Get him some crickets and i'll bet he will eat as long as his enclosure is warm enough

Mealworms are high in chitin and arnt really digestible so they are not a good food source. You can order crickets online or find another petstore.

Also make sure that your anole has a flourescent uvb bulb that emits 5 percent or higher uvb rays and a basking spot bulb so they can bask. Make sure that there is alot of plants and hiding spots since anoles are semi arboreal and like alot of leaf cover to feel secure.

NEVER use heat rocks, they cause thermal burns.

I don't want to seem anole retentive about this, but I've never heard of an anole being picky about food. We used to feed ours spiders, meal worms, or whatever was found in their natural habitat. It may be sick, especially if it's old.

They can be kind of picky. She may just not like mealworms. Try to find crickets at another pet store or find out when they'll get more in stock.

I would allways feed by hand dust(calcium) your crickets and mealworms and gut load them meaning feed the crickets.anyways if he starts to starve you can get a seringe and inject the mealworms into his mouth.
he also needs to get used to his envioronment too
