This December I have about 8 days free off, and have to be in the Canary Islands for New Years anyway. W/ 8 days to spend, which would be better: in terms of enough time allotted, cheapest flight, and logistics (getting to and from wherever I spend the 8 days to the Canary Islands for). I kind of want to see Morocco more, but am willing to do Spain if it would just be too hard to do.

From the Canaries you're closer to Morocco, and you'll probably have nicer weather there, unless you go to Andalucia only. Rest of Spain is pretty cold by then.

I have a suggestion. Stay in the islands, and visit a few of them if you really want to move around. They're SOOOO different form one another. You can spend the full 8 days in Tenerife alone and not have a minute's rest.

I've been there so many times and have only seen 3 of the 7 islands, because in Tenerife there's always so much to do and see....

Have a good time!

artwork your way down the coast from Barcelona (spend a minimum of four nights in the city although... this is amazing and there is plenty to be certain and do). pass over to Morocco by way of boat someplace close to Gibraltar or Cadiz, and then detect Morocco. do no longer pass with prepared excursions because of the fact they are going to herd you around like sheep into shops run by way of their family!

I suggest Spain. There is a lot of stuff there including the La Liga.
