I put my myspace url into my sig on forums; also adding comments on other people's myspace helps to get them to reciprocate and visit your myspace.

Subtleness is important. I got 20 or so readers pretty quick w/o even mentioning I had a blog. However, ultimately, you gotta have good content worth someone taking time out of their day to read what you have to say.

You place a link at the bottom of any emails you send, Like a signature, and in that way once at the bottom of the email people will usually click it and procced. Thats how I get people on to myspace blog, and I dont lose my integrity. Try it. Or alternatively stick it in your MSN screename window. That should make people look at it, and copy and paste it.
