a devastating and potentially avoidable tragedy. watched a program last night about flight 11 that showed there were numerous opportunities for something to be done sooner ie: suspicious information relayed (properly) to get our military scrambled that were missed or seriously delayed. that's not to mention the political lead up to the situation and our nation's lack of real security. i feel so much sorrow for the victims and their families and our entire nation. however, i also have to say that a secondary tragedy has been how individuals and groups have used this to further their biased agendas ie: not all muslims are radical terrorists. we cannot throw the baby out with the bathwater but instead need to focus on stopping and punishing the actual perpetrators of these crimes.

All Bush would have to do is to order the FBI to release the video tapes they confiscated from the Shereton Inn and the gas station across the street from the Pentagon. Play those tapes and prove that a 757 hit the Pentagon and we'll all shut up. As it is though, the verifiable evidence PROVES that no plane hit the Pentagon as it is PHYSICALLY impossible for a plane to hit a building and only leave a hole and no markings where the 12000 pound engines traveling at over 500 MPH would had to have hit. PLUS, there is not even ONE SCRATCH where the wings would have had to have hit the building, PLUS, there were no identifiable plane parts on the scene.

What views do you want other than 9/11/2001 was a tragedy and criminal. But the 19 terrorists and those who sent them are the perpetrators not the afghan and iraqi civilians who always get caught up and die in repayment for the evils and ideals of religious and political militants and terrorists and the innocent civilians who are also themselves victims to al-qaida and other terrorists organisations to who they have no control over.
Most civilans are just people like you and me who go to work support their families and try and enjoy what they can out of it.
America is a great country maybe but many people are not american and don't expect to share your views that goes for any other country.

9/11 changed so many things in my life,it reminded me how vulnerable we are,it taught me that our government is not as secure as once believed.I never was a proud American until the moment I realized what we stand for here in USA.People banding together out of the tragedy, and the strength of the human spirit to live on is an inspiration.
I was flying on Sept 11,I remember waking up late that morning and missing my first flight,my airplane was in the air when the first plane flew into the world trade center.I was stranded in the airport not knowing what was going on completely, they had turned off the televisions flights were canceling across the screens.People were on the phone crying,we were all stranded and it was a chaotic mess, later when I got to my motel room, the reality hit me,I held myself in a fetal position and cried....I have never felt safe getting on an airplane ever since,I have panic attacks now and I never had that in the past,I do not feel a sense of security and that has impacted me most of all....God bless America, let us all continue the fight for our right to be free...And lets continue to pray for those who lost their lives and the their families pray for blessing, strength and honor to all.I realize now that its not up to the government alone to protect our freedom and our country from terrorists, its up to all of us! WE need to stand together to prevent another 9/11 from happening God help prevent such attacks and needless loss of lives in the future.America its up to us if we wish to be a secure nation we all have to do our parts!America LET FREEDOM REIGN.

that the perpretators of this act meant not only to divide this country, but the world by pretending they were doing this in the name of any god. they do not believe in anything but hate. they are trying to rule by theocracy, when they have no belief in any diety, but know that many peolpe do believe, and are using them to reach thier goals. it's taught me that people who do believe need to step up and defend any country that is being terrorized by these users. that means every country has to defend the truth, not just the united states. we all have to defend not just our safety, but our true belief against people who would use it to harm other countries. the taliban have no belief in god, they just use him to create havoc. we who do believe have to stand up together and not allow ourselves to be used, but to be united in order to stop these non religeous thugs from using us to kill one another.
