Definately stop. I've done it twice now and my emplyer has been understanding both times. Human life is more valuable than anything material.
If you know first aid you have a duty to that person thats injured - if anyone doesn't understand that and they try to punish you or reprimand you for it i'd say that you'd have a good court case!
But if you caused the accident that happened in front of you.....RUN! LOL only kidding, the above still applies (about duty to that person!

It would depend on the situation.
Something critical, like a car accident with injured people would be worth being late for the meeting/work.
I wouldn't stop if it were just a minor thing.

Im a newly qualified nurse, n we have a duty to help when we can whether it be at work or in the street. Id like to think that even if running late everyone would stop to help someone in trouble....we all have a duty to help each other regardless of training...its everyone's duty. After all, ye never know when YOU might need someone's help.

Definitely stop- already late, so it's the perfect excuse. Every cloud has a silver lining. Oh, yeah, and the fact that it's the right thing to do. I meant that really.

Stop and help if I could and offer to be a witness.
If I was in that situation I would want someone to stop for me, so I would stop for them.
Also, it's only a meeting. However important, I'm sure they would understand.
