You do realise that they don't actually cure your cough and cold?

Take some paracetamol suck on some sweets. It does the same thing without the foul taste of cough syrup.

Oh, and drink plenty of water and get lots of rest.

I didn't know they all tasted foul, and they only alleviate the symptoms anyway, so apart from a bit of cough relief, why bother?

I think because they have aspirin in them. Stick to lemon and warm water, I find that helps much better and take paracetimol on the side.

It is safer to have people not like the taste of drugs. If it truly tasted like candy....wouldn't people want them even when they did not need them?

I like lemon and blackcurrant Lemsips, but I do put a couple of spoonsful of sugar in them. Nice!!
