I have a The Sims 2 Crew that creates The Sims 2 Movies. We have published a lot but haven't sold a thing. Before we sell I was thinking of asking for a copyright from EA and MAXIS. Should I do that? And If I must, how can I ask a copyright from them?

I think you will get your answer from the support site. You have to use the Contact Us tabs there.

I do know that some Simmers that have won movie contests on the Official site including some who have websites where their movies are kept, have sometimes been contacted by Maxis and invited to __interviews to do a job for them__ (PAID!). I don't know what their policies are about copyright. On the internet, generally the Berne's Convention applies to everything, but since the Sims game is also intellectual property, I'm not sure how your issues are handled. Send them an email. Normally you get a reply within a day or two.
