This is the time whe your wife, no matter how independent before, needs to know that you will take care of her and the baby. Get out your shining armor. Help her get the nursery furnished. Help her shop for baby items. If possible, find someone to come in and clean the house both right before she delivers and right after. If not, then plan on doing it yourself. Understand that "yes, dear" can avert a lot of drama in your life. Tell her how fabulous she looks when she starts feeling like a whale. Generally, be kind and be a gentleman.

Research and read about what is going on with her body and the baby's development. Understand the drastic changes her body and emotions are going through.

I'm 24 weeks pregnant, and I appreciate it when my husband understands what's going on when I complain about swollen feet, aching back and the extra effort it takes just to turn over in bed.

Also, you need to show her extra loving attention. She really needs your emotional support right now.

Good luck and Congratulations!!

Well I can tell you what they "should" do... BE SUPPORTIVE. Pregnancy does crazzzy things to a womans body-trust me I am 21 weeks pregnant!! Dont question anything. Women are more emotional during pregnancy as well, just be there for her. Try to understand what is going on with her body and mind.
