I can't write PHP (or even CSS). I'm a graphic designer who makes simple HTML websites - but I have a client who wants to be able to update her own on-line calendar. Any suggestions?

What is this "calendar" you speak of? Is it an HTML file, or is there some server-side functionality involved?

This is probably not going to be the only request you get for active content. I suggest you find someone who can do PHP development whom you can either partner with or refer people to.

And learn CSS - it gives you lots more layout and design flexibility.

I would recommend learning to install and setup Joomla. It's a very powerful yet easy content management system.

Joomla has plugins called Components or Extensions. There is an excellent component named Gigcalendar that works very well and is highly customizable.

Good Luck.

You could search http://www.hotscripts.com

Or if its just her who wants to use the calender you can use google's calendar, its very good, she could also share the calendar meaning others can view and edit aswell.

It's free open source.
You can log-in to an actual working version to see how it works.
