I don't know about others, but to me it feels like looking at a tragedy from 100 years ago--a kind of sadness held in check by the passage of time. Five years seems like 50 to me for some reason, almost like a day from another life. I guess I feel awkwardly detached from it all.

I hope that the measures our gov. has taken will reduce the chance of this happening again. Also, I feel greatful that Pres. Bush has taken this war to them. He hasn't done it all by the book, but he sure has let them know there will be repercussions if something like this happened again.

I think it's a sad somber mood today. So many people lost their lives on this day. It would be good to remember them all.

I am tired of the national dwelling on 9-11. It was a terrible tragedy, but there are more pressing problems we have as a nation.
