Funny, but the latest reports I had heard said the children when found dead did not have any smoke in their lungs. What does this have to do with anything? Well, the fire that was started by a flash-bang grenade: 1) caught very quickly due to the entire structure having been lined with gasoline soaked straw 2) the children were already dead before smoke started filling up the structure from the fire. Neither the FBI nor ATF agents killed any children. They were killed by the people inside before the agents went in. And, it's funny how people want to relate to a religious group being led by the self proclaimed new messiah that kept itself very very well armed. But, take some religious zealots who are also heavily armed for fighting [cause there's really no other reason to have automatic weapons] and put them on the other side of the world and we label them terrorists. Why the difference, no matter whether they're inside the US or not, they're all terrorists or at the very least deluded individuals.

It was very sad that so many died but come on the government is not responsible for everything - though I know they are easy to blame. If you look at the facts this cult was a danger to those around - I don't live too far from Waco so I was glad to see it wasn't allowed to stay the way it was. As for the fire, that wasn't the FBI that was from the leader David Koresh, which should tell you what a danger he would have been to the rest of us.

sad the way things turned out, maybe the FBI and ATF could have handled things better but i don't know i'm not a law enforcement expert. but david koresh needed taken out, maybe the fbi could have put an agent on the inside.
