It has saddened me to think we have such monsters in this world and to realize they do not want us to live peaceful anymore, but it has also made me enjoy everyday like it was my last day to live and to not take life for granted. I pray for the healing of our country an that we will eventually be able to look evil in the face an let them know our God reigns an always has an always will ,the evil doers are no more than the spon of Satan and no matter what they believe they will have their day they will have to answer for their evil ways and hopefully I can be there to watch !

9-11-01 was the day that my oldest son started preschool. My brother was supposed to be on one of the planes that crashed. I dropped my son off for his first day of preschool wondering what kind of world we were living in, and then began making frantic calls to my brother and then his employer trying to find him.

I hate to say this, but because of the astounding lack of condemnation on the part of moderate Muslims the world over for the actions of the terrorists in their midst, I am now very observant of people who appear to be Middle Eastern or wear burkhas around me and my children.

It made me realize no matter where I am at something can always happen. I am not fully protected by this country nor any country for that matter. I mourn on this day each year for those who lost their lives. I also know there are people out there when it comes to death that they will try to protect you (My heart goes out to those on the plane who took over the terrorist.)

It made me much more aware that we are not as safe as we thought. I always assumed living in the United States, we did not have to worry about these types of thing here.... but It sure opened my eye's!

It has made me not want to travel to the States. Because of fear of terrorism? No. Because it's too hard to get my husband to pay for passports for five people.

I pray for my friends and loved ones that don't yet know Christ more than ever. Security wise, it stayed the same. I don't live in fear. I live trusting God.
