wife took and agreed to all debt from marrige in divorce, some just in my name,will this debt be discharged,being she took debt ,if she files bankrupt,this is in papers that she got all owed debt

If you signed together on the note...you both get burned.

Most of the prior answers are wrong. It depends on how your marital settlement agreement read. If your wife took most of the debt rather than paying you some kind of spousal support, alimony or child support, then it goes away. If she took it as a property settlement (maybe to offset a big asset that she kept, like the house) then the creditors will come after you. It will probably end up on your credit report. That is federal law, some thing I don't deal with.

Nope!! If she files Bankrupt you will have to also sign papers! You did say your name is on some of the stuff so you are just as responsible for it too!!

If she doesnt pay off the debt that is in your name your credit can be ruined and you will have to go back to court to get them to again order her to pay it. Keep track of the bill payments which have your name on them.

depends, Did you have the debt before you was married? Because if you had the debt before you got married. then it is your problem,(depends on the state that you are in). If you had the debt when you was married. then it all hers, (Depends on the state that you are in ) . See a lawyer

Not sure, but if she relieved you of debt, you have to pay income tax on the amount of the relieved debt - that is a fact.
