Thats really hard to do. You can't really be a friend with out tryen to be some thing more in the end of the relationship. There is always a chance he will fall in love wit you. The only thing you can do is tell him you just want to be friends and nothing more. Don't be cruel give him a chance to win you heart. Don't deny your self the love of a reall good man

the boys are a bit weird but they choose their best friend not as a deffinition as for the girl they feel closer than any other. to those they develop a bran new feeling and consider her as their sister. i have a very best friend who is a boy. he is very nice and good always listens to my wishes, tell me everything and i tell him too, he listens to my advices, try to understand me, and he protects me very much. i know him all my life and yet we love each other as brother and sister. boys can b girls best friends and girls can b boys best friends. it is quite a strange kind of friends but i will tell you this: he is the only best friend i have and i never arued with and never petraid me...and i have had many best girl friends !!

boys look for the same thing in a girl friendship that they look for in a probable girlfriend, compatibility. After all, you must have a friendship and compatibility before anything else can mature.

I'm the best friend of a boy and let me tell you guys... you didn't really get it. what's that about having sex with him? no way! you have to understand him, to give him good pieces of advice, to listen to him! kind of a mother but who doesn't make him clean his room :))

Assuming you are too ugly for him to want you for anything romantic, you could always buy him expensive gifts, or maybe do odd jobs for him - wash and wax his car, or put up dry wall at his house.
