I haven't heard anything new on the case but based on the story, the Lawyer will rot in prison. If the dead man is found to have molested the child then that's a different thing, but as of now there is no evidence proving that he did. The only thing is the childs testimony, but no physical evidence. Another thing to note is that the presumed molestor didn't have a criminal record linking him to any sexual or child abuse. The child's dad acted irrationally and he will pay for it now. What do you think?

When did the man have time to molest this 2 year old if he wasn't even a family friend. How would he get at her, where was the mother? Usually 2 year olds are always around one of the parents 24/7 aren't they?

The father should have taken his daughter to either a doctor or a psychologist so that they could check for evidence of molestation. The murder was obviously premeditated, so the father should get whatever penalties are meted out to those who are convicted for first-degree murder. I have absolutely no sympathy for him, because as a lawyer, he really should have known better.

I don't know anything about the case, but children don't always show evidence of sexual molestation, depends exactly on what was done, obviously he believed his child and did act irrationally, but I have children and I would be tempted to do the same thing if they told me that. Hmmm, we probably will never know for sure if that is even true or not, but I would certainly talk to that child a lot, I really don't know why that child would make that up. Remember, not all child abusers ever get charged, I know I had a grandfather that was one.

Never heard this story but sounds like lawyer won't be seeing the light of day for a longggggggggg time. You are correct in the fact that most 2 year olds are or should be in one or both parents eye sight. Sad case.
