To have a friend you must first be a friend. Do not go through life expecting people to fall all over you. You must be kind, considerate and interested in people and let all of that shine through. Do not hesitate to start up conversations - compliments work wonders to start one - show interest in the other person - work - fun things they like to do & most important of all let them talk!!! They will think of you in a most kind way if you just listen and ask questions.
