"......Please give our collective loss and pain meaning beyond hate and vengeance. Hate breeds nothing but more hate. Hate is why we are no longer here to be with our loved ones. Please remember
that we are all brothers and sisters on this earth. Life is precious, short, and priceless. Hate does nothing but destroy. Hate begets hate. War begets war. Reach out and hug your loved ones, be it a
friend, sister, brother, father, mother, son, daugher, or grandparent. Remember, our last words were of love, not hate or
vengeance......"tell Mommy I always loved both of you with all of
my heart, never forget that"......."Honey, I'm so glad we met. Thank
you for all the love and time we shared."......"John, when you get this message, remember, you gave me the best and happiest
years of my life" Do try to understand those that would hate you.
Let the strongest and wisest among us build a bridge of love and
common humanity that nothing can tear asunder. Only then can
we live in peace...."

That is very nice. I understand where you are coming from in writing this. For the survivors of all that died on 9/11, I believe it would be very hard for them to say "I agree". It will take many years, many years to build a bridge of peace in this world. At least not in my life time.

I think they would be the same as they were in life. Some of them were probably nice and others would probably splash me as they drove down a flooded street or make nasty comments to women or cheat on their taxes. These people were just people, they weren't saints by any means.

yeah, i think they would probably say that to the terrorists. this is kind of b.s. people are going through (went through, whatever) a lot of pain and anger and hate. everyone grieves in their own time and in their own way. there's nothing wrong with that (only what you do with that). if i lost family in the WTC and you said this to me, i'd be pretty pissed at you. people are allowed to be angry. i think this just demonstrates a lack of empathy for people in that situation. it's like saying to the people who went through that, "just get over it now. move on." i really hope people can move on with their lives eventually, but i have no right to tell them when.
