Massage, yoga and breathing techniques. If you lie flat in a quiet, dimly lit room, you can take deep breaths, holding each for a few seconds and slowly letting them out. This will relax you quite well. I do this before sleeping at night.

Massage and yoga can also help you tremendously during labor. Learning to focus on your breathing will help you endure the pain of the contractions.

But remember several yoga positions are not suitable for pregnant women. http://yoga.about.com/od/prenatalyoga/ This link will give you some ideas.

Good luck!!

Relaxation techniques exist some that contribute for a bigger relaxation of the mind and the body, and that they can help it to adormecer.
To make ioga or allonges they are good techniques that the pregnant woman can use to descontrair. Some gymnasia exist that already give to these services the pregnant. As soon as I got pregnant after we had been trying for nearly a year (having been on the pill for over 4 years prior) my husband read somewhere that the more orgasms a woman has when pregnant, the easier the birth. From then on he took it as his mission to provide as many of these very nice things as possible. We had been on around twice per day in any case.

I had the best time of my life during my pregnancy. I also bonded even more with my husband, which was in itself relaxing. I felt fussed and loved throughout.

The thing I did not like was the six weeks after birth when there was zero love making, a lot of attention but no love making on doctor's oders.

So from me, get your man in on the job.

Having just gone through the whole pregnancy/labour thing in the past 2 weeks, I would recommend Hypnotherapy, it incorporates breathing and relaxation techniques, gives you a positive mental attitude and understanding of labour as a natural process. It also removes/reduces any preconceived thoughts and concerns.

The more relaxed you are, the better for the baby, I would also recommend it for your birth partner.

Taking a warm bath with about 7 drops of organic lavander oil is very relaxing.... also blend a few drops (5 to 10) of lavander into a carrier oil (baby oil or grapeseed oil etc) and massage your belly in clockwise circular motions.... this is very relaxing for you and your baby will get the benefits too!... important - ALWAYS use clockwise motions to massage your belly as this is the way all your organs function.

I did prenatal yoga and found it incredibly helpful. Once you've been a few times, you can practise the breathing techniques on your own. It also helps get rid of pregnancy aches and pains. And it really helps during labour too, and also during the first few months after delivery. Not only does it tone you up, is pregnancy friendly, but it really helps you to get rid of that stress and tension. I miss it so much that I'm starting normal yoga classes next week!
Good luck.

Lots of cushions and slow, deep breathing!
Chocolate is good too, scientists have proven that it actually makes you and the baby happy and more relaxed (and baby gets the calories not you unless you eat a crate of it!)
