I have 3 friends who have had their tubes tied and say that since, their periods are way worse!!

I had my tubes done in May this year and my ob/gyn told me that for the first 6 months that periods would be heavier and more painful. He also said that this will go away it's just your body getting used to t he egg not coming in anymore.

It does happen for some women. Whether it is really "normal" is another matter. If you are having a lot of discomfort, this needs to be discussed with your doctor.

I have heard some women say the same thing. They all went to their doctors for a check up I would reccommend the same thing to you. Good Luck

i don't really know if this is normal, but i had the same problem for a few years, but then it subsided, they last about 2-3 days now and they are fine..
