It seems to me a terror group based in Afganistan launched terror attacks against America.

Shouldn't of we got them all before destroying another nation that didn't attack us?

Because Cheney had to get the oil in Iraq for his buddies in the energy industry. Afghanistan was just a stepping stone, they had been wanting to invade Iraq for years, and this was just an excuse to do it.

You should have added to your question the fact that Bush let Osama slip away at Tora Bora.

My answer, Bush never intended to finish the job in Afghanistan. The neo cons want uninterrupted war. If they didn't, then that idiot Rumsfeld would have had a plan going into Afghanistan. Instead, Bush said hey look over there, lets go invade Iraq and waste billions of tax payers dollars and fool the American public into thinking we actually care about there safety.

Bush & Co. have never given a damn about the safety of the American people. They had wanted to invade Iraq for years, and they merely saw the 9/11 attacks as a golden opportunity to do it. It's been 5 years now since the attacks, and Osama bin Laden STILL hasn't been caught! We've got the best military in the world, so if Bush really cared about getting justice for the 3,000 people who died in the attacks, it would have happened by now.

Bush thinks Bin Laden is in Iraq. Bush also thinks a "terrorist" will stand in Iraq and fight Americans. Bush knows nothing about war, never served, never been there. Terrorist do the dirty work behind our backs, just like in Nam. Terrorist are cowards.
Less than 30-40 American troops were after Bin Laden in Toro Boro
the Taliban there were bombed by US gun ships and aircraft for 10 days, we even used Bunker Busters but did not get Bin Laden.

It ability to grant secure practices for the Iraqi human beings until eventually the Iraqi authorities can do it themselves. however the Iraqi authorities is appearing too very such as the yankee authorities, too busy squabbling over petty subject concerns to get something considerable finished. As for those Republicans you communicate approximately, they are morons. We began the combat in Afghanistan beforehand the single in Iraq, with the intention to declare we could desire to end Iraq beforehand ending Afghanistan is stupid.

In a perfect world, yes. If you remember the events of that time...there was so much talk about how the 9/11 attacks should have been prevented..and then the talk about how Hussein was gearing up to do more of the same...what would you have done as President? You can't let your country be a sitting duck.

Plain and simple - Bush can care less about USA safety. Not only he didn't finish the war on terror, where the terror is,he didn't secure the borders and on top of that created many more terrorists in Iraq.
He is a puppet for something bigger, the future will show what
