I think that they played relly well, they deserved the 3rd position....though I just read in the paper that Bayern Munich's coach Felix Magath was critisising Klinsman as the bronze medal was not good enough for the host country according to him....

I think they played well through out the tournament. Although when they got knocked out I think it was because they failed to play their game from the earlier rounds. They were more of an attacking team in the early rounds, when they got knocked out they looked like a team that was just trying to not lose the game.

They played good attacking football. They should have been voted most entertaining team over Portugal. However I am Glad Italy beat them.

thought they played very well, beat and Argentina side who looked great in their group stages. Took Italy to extra time and could have possibly beat France in the final.

yeah they were very good and exceeded my expectations...everyone were playing well...but they cant go farther than 3rd...
