I just moved to FL and was unpacking my stuff....I quit unpacking and just sat stunned and crying in front of the TV. But better than just remembering...do something! I've been sending out the following.....
Although I prefer to remember 9/11 it as a "survivor" day, and a "Heros" day....I do remember the victims also...May God rest their soul....and may we never forget....
Do you support our troops? Help those who are now putting their lives in danger helping you....

Or help your local organization...please! It means a lot to our Troops to know you care! Will you help?
PS...you can copy anything off these sites to use it to help our Troops.....

On a day off going to my optican's appointment. The receptionist told me about the Twin Towers. I am not an American or have ever lived in the USA so it really didn't mean anything to me. I once had a boyfriend whose sister worked in the Towers but it still didn't have any significance to me. Since then I have been really interested in anything to do with the Towers. I do not believe they should build the Freedom Tower that high. That is asking for those B A S T A R D S to come at you again.

I was in the kitchen fixing breakfast, when my daughter came in and said "Mommy, they turned off my show and said a plane hit a building", I went and looked and thought "Oh how sad" and I went back into the kitchen to finish, so I could watch the news.
A few minutes later, she returns and said "Another one hit the building". I was like "No I am sure they were just showing a replay of it sweetie". She goes "no, they said OH NO ANOTHER JUST HIT". I said "Oh my gosh!" So I went in and watched the rest of the news.
They announced that it was terrorism or they thought it was and I cried and cried watching the people hanging out of the windows and all the newscasters having ahard time even talking. I then called my husband and said "I just want you home, I am not sending our daughter to school, let's just be home together" And that night, we just held eachother and cried and prayed for the families who lost loved ones and for our country that had been so viciously attacked.
It is 8:55 here now and 5 yrs ago exactly it was happening NOW. It is a day, unfortunately that we will never forget. When you remember, JUST LOVE YOUR FAMILY! Love your babies, love your spouse, love your parents, you never know how long life really will be.
