Everyone says PEyton "bested" Eli.. No, he didnt. Eli ouplayed him. They kept saying how great Peyton was on third down, and he was.. but after that game, when you stop and realize that if the Giants Secondary could hold on to 3, count em 3!!! sure interceptions..i dont even think who played better comes into the equation. the score would have been 35-14, and everyoe would be saying how bad Peyton Played if the Giant Defenders could have actually caught 3 HORRENDOUS passes by the Great Peyton. The giant Secondary had the same problem last year, they couldnt catch sure interceptions, so they remade it this year with different players, and they STILL cant catch sure interceptions LOL

well peyton had no running game at all and the giants where playing nickel on every down so there was always at least five DB's in the game, and eli had tiki and brandon jacobs running all over the colts undersized dline. i also feel that the giants secondary is way better then the colts. the colts started a 6th round draft pick at safety and a second year player in marlin jackson. peyton and eli both only had one pick but the giants drop i think 2 but you cant those against peyton.
In the end you have to go with peyton for the fact that the giants didnt give a lick about the coltsgame and played against the pass all night they barely even blitzed because they droped everyone into coverage so peyton had to throw against 7 defenders and colt's wr dropped 3 passes so that dosnt help and he had no running game at all so you have to go with peyton over eli. and peyton won so it really dosnt matter.

Eli had a better record, but Peyton ended up with the win. Peyton Manning said during a Post-Game interview that he was proud of Eli & said he loved him & appreciate what he did for his team.

Eli had more weapons at his disposal and as a result played a better game until the last quarter then his inexperience showed up. The interception and the poor clock management at the end snuffed the last chance the Giants had to win the game. Indy has lost the "Edge" and man did it show.

My vote goes for Eli.
Peyton could of had a least 3 more interceptions last night, if the Giants could have just held on to the ball. Both are great athletes, and it was a great game to watch, but overall I think Eli was the better.

I thought Eli held his own, not only was he battling the Indianapolis Colts, but he is trying to get out of his brother's shadow. Don't know which was harder for him. He did alright. I like Peyton better though.

To me, the fact that peyton had no running support and won the game tells me that he played the best. He is an awsome QB. and so is Eli.

Even i say both played good. they where not great i say it is a tie. now at the end of the year it will be Payton with all the stats and awards. in a few years Eli will be getting all the praise.

Eli's number were a little better. The Giants should have won the game. Penalties really hurt them.
