The flag should be flown today to remember all of the people who died.As for half staff to pay respect at the time that the towers fell to lower the flag to half staff and observe a moment of silence. The raise the flag back to normal position.
Always fly the flag in the proper manner to respect all the men and women who have died to give us the freedom to fly our flag.

I think that it would be a good idea. We lost so many people that done that I think it would only be right that we fly the flags at half staff today.

I think that people should have this day off from work and school out of respect and yes the flags should be lowered.

no, because America is not the only country to have had a major terrorist attack in history...Yes, it's something to remember..but why get work or school off..it's not a HOLIDAY and shouldn't be celebrated as such..it' should be remembered as a terrible day in history not an excuse to get the day off...a moment of silence and the reading of the names is good enough.
3000 people died in vain so that we can sit around and have a day off work? i don't think so....if you get a day off for it would you really remember it? i don't think so....

yes. The town flag here is at half mast.
One person replied with : "Who cares? " You'd care if one of your relatives was in the WTC. This isn't something to joke about.
