Well, really sweetie you should where whatever you feel comfortable in. But if you are looking to update your style then the best thing is to browse stores like H&M - it is my best recommendation as it has really lovely funky clothes at reasonable prices (unlike places like Warehouse and River Island) H&M caters for kids, men and women - but their range of womens clothes are really trendy and aimed at our age group (I turned 20 in August myself and today I am wearing two items from H&M!!!)
I really do recommend it - they have stores in most major towns so check their website to find your local branch!

Well, if u r in for designer clothes then mango and united colors of benneton has the best range. They are not very girlie but they can definitely make you look very classy and sophisticated. If that is a little bit unaffordable, then tunic tops and denim mini skirts are the perfect clothes. Wear what suits your figure. If you are a bit on the heavier side, then ponchos with jeans are great. Try pairing single color trousers with a tee of the same color with a broad combinative belt which will accentuate your body.Ciao!! I am giving a site where you can choose your wardrobe from.

My kids use to go to the mall and look around at all the different stores then decide what they would or wouldn't buy. It was a good time to spend with their friends and when it was time to buy guess who was their best friend that day (their mother loll).Generally these days anything basically goes allot of kids (sorry)are into different things and they dress accordingly by what they do such as the groups they are in. Your best bet is to be your self and don't try to look older because you are young and enjoy it while it lasts.Good Luck I hope this helps a little

try www.cosmogirl.com
they tell you what the trend is and info abt beauty and fashion...
dressing and makeup are knowledge that every girl should learn. im learning too...personally prefer to look elegant and sexy, not funky...how you dress really depends on what kind of appearance you personally prefer...some ppl like gothic; some ppl like bizzare; some ppl like girly; some ppl like casual; some ppl funky...think abt which one is more suitable to your own personality...you don't have to copy from anyone...make your own style that makes yourself comfortable...

I don't think it matters anymore nowadays...you should wear what you want to wear. Not what other people tell you to wear.
As long as it's not trashy.
