Just a way of taking all the pace off a ball in a volley. Try to keep your wrist stiff, locked and below the racquet head. Let the ball hit your racquet at whatever angle you're trying to play then giggle like a schoolgirl as your opponent charges in from the baseline in vain to return your winner!
