Ever wondered if Men in Black styled films have an eliment of truth to them, to soften the blow to the public when it comes about that aliens are living on earth???

Well lets look at the facts:
Firstly, over the past 50 years technology advance has been happening much faster than in the past 5,000 years.
Lastly, there was this show on The Discovery Channel about 5 months back where they found a micro-organism on mars, and the screen went blank just after it started (most likely due to it having content they don't wnat the public viewing).

Ok, heres looking at the other side of things:
There were no UFO sightings or Crop Circles found, until AFTER they made that Alien film back in the early 20th century.

You can't get gov't employees at any level to keep quiet about ANYTHING. If not for money or fame, they'll blab secrets to try to impress some girl at a bar.
From what I understand, the gov't is aware that there are UFOs, but they don't have any idea what they could be, there hasn't been much of a National Security threat from them or aliens or whatever they hell they are, so they don't investigate it much at all.

Of course that's why we have an area 51,watch the history channel with the old CIA agents coming forward.I watched an old speech of Ronald Reagan when he said his plane was flying next to an ufo.and the white house covered it up after the speech.

I think the people in the govt themselves act as aliens...as dont do not see to realise half the things that go on in the country

I had a friend who said the reason cars are designed the way they are is that they resemble aliens, so when they make an appearance, we are not all that shocked

There's always that speculation about Area 51 and all that - there isnt smoke without fire.
