I got the feeling that most had, but 5 years is a big milestone and 9/11 was a cataclysmic event. We'll probably all get the same media rehashing in 2011, 2021, 2026, etc.

Not soon, abc. It's 911 every day somewhere in the world but since the USA is the superpower their own 911 is lifted up to status of the worst tragedy that ever happened. Wish superpowers could spend as much mourning over the events they caused, then the ones they were subdued to.

Never! We should never forget that day. Our country was assaulted by vicous terrorists and almost 3000 innocent people lost their lives. If we forget the day that terror came to our land, it will happen again. We have to stick together as Americans to protect our freedom, protect our country and protect what our great country stands for. If it's too tedious for you, don't watch tv today. The rest of us are remembering the great loss we felt 5 years ago and praying it will never happen again.

First you must be capable of understanding the entire impact that the attacks had on our country. From the financial, to the emotional, security, diplomatic. All parts of everyday life are effected. Not yours perhaps but for for millions of others. As you get older and can see a larger picture it will make more sense.

I am sure they have done in their own ways but why shouldnt people be allowed to remember people they have lost in such a tragic way ? this isnt not moving on its respect for the people they have lost surely anyone with a heart can identfy this. We are all different though and have to respect each others ways - some people prefer to move on soon but others chose to take there time - either way everyone does in the end.

I don't know but as long as it's making money they'll ride it to death no matter how much it hurts the people that lost loved ones in it. It's sad and abusive to the survivors of 9/11. May god bless them for there patience with the world and its greed for money and ratings.

You know, I am American and although it was a terrible incident I do have to agree with you. The media just keeps it alive and alive. I know many people are going to think I am Un-American for thinking this way but I think it is way past time to put it to rest. Sure, go ahead and memorialize it on the date but this everyday mentioning of it is too much.

We should never forget as a memorial to all of our citizens who lost there lives that day.We are still under attack. The world hates the USA because we are a free Christian nation. I feel like anyone that does not feel that way should find another place to live.
