I hope it's their downfall but I also hope we don't need another 9/11 for that!

Let's hope to God there IS no next 9/11
and if there was it wouldn't be the downfall of Al-Qaeda. it would be the precursor to a war on Iran most likely.
(For those who think Osama is still running the show, wake up! he's probably been dead quite a while.. but his Ghost sure makes good copy)
If you look at the following sites:
http://www.antiwar.com/roberts/?articleid=8713
http://www.etherzone.com/2003/henr053003.shtml
http://www.alternet.org/mediaculture/40693/
(of course some of these are anti-Bush so expect a lot of bias, but hey, objectivity never existed in the politcal arena)
you'll see how some think Bush actually Needs another 9/11.. giving rise to the not-so-new idea that such grand scale disasters can be staged by the master chess players in the Pentagon.
Bush will probably have sympathy and support from his public, after successfully subduing them with the fear of more terrorist attacks, but I doubt that America will have any more sympathy from the rest of the world once American troops enter Iran... come to think of it, the troops themselves won't be too happy. Many of them are fed up already with the war on Iraq.
("War on Iraq".. what a joke.. weren't the Iraqis supposed to be liberated? now they're at war.. what are they supposed to name whatever is happening to them: Forced Democracy? insane.. but i digress)
9/11 copycats already emerged a long time ago. Remember the "shoe bomber"? and the very recent "foiled" Boeing hijackings in the UK?
Bush is currently walking a thin line, and another heroic act of leadership in the face of the "terrorist threat" might save his ***.
If you don't think such grand scale crimes against innocent civillians can be enitrely staged, think again. Try watching "Wag The Dog", if not for being convinced, then just for the fun of it. But it will get you thinking.. If even Hollywood, one of the masters of propaganda, can produce a bold political statement like this one, then surely there must be some truth to it.

My hope is that people remember well and have learned from the tragedy of 911. Unfortunately, I read many posts on Yahoo Answers everyday that tell me many haven't. 911 did not just occur, it was the result of an escalating pattern of terrorist violence. Without pointing any fingers, let's just say that wrong thinking in government policy towards intelligence, and a demonstrated lack of will to take action, or complete it once engaged led to those events. Terrorism is a great threat, and those who deny this fact are an even greater threat than the terrorists themselves. We have to remain vigilant. We have to continue to show those who would use terror as a weapon that the world is no longer a big enough place to hide. If we fail in this then our way of life will perish in the ashes of greater and greater attacks.

why do you think that there will be another 9/11 attack?
do you want another attack?
That's very selfish of you to even think about something like that and anyway if something like that ever happens again which I hope does not there will be no sympathy I think it will be the beginning of WW3.

The base will continue to reorganize and will continually be chased down for their actions. If they are destroyed they will only be replaced by other threats from the Muslim world.
