Why does AOl firewall Keep Yahoo messenger from loading?

My AOL safty and security (FIREWALL) ISn't allowing Yahoo messenger to log on. I turned off AOL firewall and went back to windows firewall, But then My status w/ AOL safty and security was POOR. How Or what Can I do to either so that they both work properly? I also tried setting yahoo connection to firewall w/ no proxy. And this did not work either.

Uninstall AOL firewall,,,,download yahoo with voice version 8.0 then type in free firewall in search and download that. get the yahoo protection plan.and you will be happier.
