I really like Mythologic-Deities (I don't want to say "gods" & "goddesses" because I don't want to pollute mythology with religion).

Thor, Frey'ja, Neptune and Diana - I dont know why theyve just always been my favorite.....maybe coz they all get to weild a weapon.....
Do people not realise Spiderman and Superman are not gods? Dumb asses they are cartoon characters nothing more, not mythological beings.....Do you put them in the same catagory as your GOD? then dont put them in the same catagory as ours....!!!!! Sorry dude just need to rant at the idiots that think that way.....

The most powerful gods related in world mythology seem to be versions of the one we now call our God, Re, Zeus, El or other names. His equal (or perhaps even superior) is the one now refered to today in pagan religions as "the mother Goddess," Isis, Athena-Aphrodite, Astarte, Amaterasu, Ashtareth, Inanna, Ishtar, ect. ect. Many ancient texts refer to this person as being equal or superior in power to her male counterpart. Other world manifestations of gods just don't seem to have those two's raw power for some reason.
