That depends on the interpretation of 'empowerment'. To some, empowerment is the right to own property, vote, and to not be abused and/or raped. To others, empowerment is the 'right' to have children while putting her career first. It's the 'right' to have sex, and murder the child simply for convenience. The latter 2 examples are selfishness, to me, not empowerment.

Women's empowerment is definable only by the individual. Freedom to be whom WE WANT to be is ultimate power.

Women and men should stick to those tasks which life and evolution has conditioned them to do well. Women should nurture children and create a secure family environment and men should be hard working providers-if that were adhered to then society would function a whole lot better than it currently does.

Women are a vital element in society, destined for more than pot-scrubbing and house cleaning.
They should at least have the real opportunity to pursue their dreams

Why would women NOT want to have power? What is the other option? Being powerless?
This is a no-brainer.... think about it.
