If you could have prevented 9/ll would you be willing to give up some of your civil rights?

I'm so tired of people complaining that their civil rights might be violated while trying to protect us and yet they are the same people who claim Pres. Bush knew about 9/11 before it occurred.

Would you rather be dead or dying from painful diseases and burns or see your children suffer these consequences and never know what true freedom was all about or have your government resource to violating civil rights of subversives?

Do you want to be taxed further while we tie up our courts, pay astronomical attorney fees to give terrorists the rights our forefathers have fought and died for?

Dear God, Americans must start to think outside of the block and consider the consequences and human cost to their families by their unthinking reasoning.

We will surely lose ALL our civil rights and freedom if we do not win this war against terrorism.

Who have you heard that had a better solution to our problem?

This is very serious, not to be taken lightly.

You are right. What many people forget is that the Islamics declared war on us. War. Can't people understand that word. We are at WAR. For our survival. For our countries survival. For our rights. They want to erase us from the planet. First Israel then us. And they can do it with the help of the ACLU and liberals. And, I regret, I think they will.

No! Terrorists, both foreign and domestic, do what they do precisely because they want our government to change the laws that will change our American way of life. By allowing laws to be passed that change the very basic principles that our country was founded upon, and therefore relinquishing any civil/human rights, we would be allowing the terrorists to win. In order for our side to win, we need to stand our ground, maintain our freedoms and way of life, while fighting with every resource we have.

I agree with you 100%. No one wants to give up anything, but we have no choice if we wish to survive. The only question is how many attacks will it take before the ACLU types realize this.
