I can't imagine the average person being extremely angry for no particular reason. People with mental or mood disorders have that problem. I, for example, am bipolar, and can get into cycles where I'm highly agitated and easily angered, but even at that, I don't start out really mad. And, if I stay on my meds, the nervous overly sensitive episodes are manageable.

There are a few options.
Slow down your breathing by concentrating on breathing out slowly to make the adrenalin subside. Count to 5 each breath.
Identify what is triggering your stress and take positive action to sort it. People usually feel stressed when they have no control.
Take up something hard and physical and do that when you get cross. I bash the hell out of my drum kit.
If it's happening a lot and you feel violent to other people then find an anger management class and go!

Either: Think of how a nice girl would think about you when you are angry. She would want to get away from you - (not cool)
Or: Buy a punching bag and beat the stuffing out of it for half an hour.

It is a bad feeling. Physical activity helps and doing something that diverts your attention from the thing that is making you angry, also helps. Punching a bag can be a good way to let off steam.

When I get that way, I usually take a long walk. Or if I can I go to the gym and work it out on the machine circut or the punching bag. I really like the punching bag, I can get my frustration out and go home in a calmer frame of mind. Then i can think about things and figure out whats really bothering me. Good Luck!

you cannot be extremely angry without a reason.
you may not admit it but there's a underlying reason, piled up anger for that outburst.
catch some nap if you can, it helps to cool you down.
