I am in the top tax bracket. Why? Because I was responsible for my actions. I worked hard and didn't spent money I didn't have. My tax dollars pay for the people that can not seem to grasp that. If somebody can not be responsible for their actions, and ergo make less money, why should I have to pay for them? Should we mandate responsibility? Or should we reward those who refuse to accept it?

Right on! Far too many think the government owes them a living, should pay for their own irresponsible behavior, provide for numerous children by various and sundry fathers.

Boy if you ever talk to them they get so angry that they are not getting enough or if cuts are made in 'their' program.

Our government is enabling irresponsible, selfish behavior and it is hurting the people they think they are helping.

Too many politicians use this codependency to gain votes by convincing people they cannot take care of themselves and we should tax all those bad rich people more so we can further perpetuate their codependent behavior further crippling them.

As a conservative, I believe in the Constitution, and therefore, that this is none of the government's business.

Wealth should be re-distributed. It is absurd that anybody in the richest nation on Earth goes hungry, or can't get medicine. However, this is not the government's job. It is our responsibility as Americans, and as humans to take care of our fellow humans.

If I have money, and let my fellow man starve or go without medicine, that makes me a dispicable human. However, if the government steals my money to give to my fellow man, that is just as dispicable. Stealing is wrong, no matter the intention.

I believe in freedom. But with freedom comes responsibility. Our government is constantly stealing more of our freedom, and in turn we are becoming less responsible.

I'm not in that bracket yet, but thanks for paying all those taxes so some lazy people can sit around all day griping about what they are owed, and don't have to actually work.
