Any suggestions? We are both lesbians. No mean or disrespectful answers, please.

Congratulations. I suggest a nice candle lit dinner with a nice bottle of wine and a sensual massage. Follow your heart from there. I have never met a woman that didn't like a nice romantic dinner followed by a sensual massage. It is very romantic and it shows that you care about her. If possible a trail of flower petals leading to the dining room and bedroom..

If there was a special place you met, etc., you might return there for your first year anniversary, I always think things like that are romantic. Plan a romantic weekend getaway, if you can, or a nice meal and maybe a day-trip if not. Congrats in finding someone you enjoy being around and spending time together with, in this day and age that's hard enough whether you prefer men or women.

happy anniversary - mine is on Sept 19th. I was so broke on our first ann - I wrote tore up 365 little pieces of paper and wrote on each either a reason I loved her or a get outa jail free coupon or a coupon for a wish - etc. Then for our date I made a really nice dinner at my place. Ahh memories

Hiya... just to say congrats and don't listen to the narrow minded individuals... Just do something simple which you both enjoy... maybe recreate the time you guys first met or started going out.... Hope you have a great time and best of luck for the future

Buy a ring. Buy some pastries and flowers on the day. When she gets home give her the flowers, feed her the pastries (with coffee or tea) and put the ring on her finger. Give her a hug and tell her that you love her. Later on go out for dinner.

Go someplace special, like a private cabin or a nice hotel. Spend the time enjoying each other and drink too much champagne.

Do something you both enjoy and is meaningful to your relationship. Gifts are good. So is sharing intimate time together. Congratulations and many more!
